The story behind the work
Tell your company's story
HangTex was founded in February 2023 by Ângela Oliveira in Vila Nova de Famalicão, at the heart of Portugal's textile district. Famalicão is home to the ATP (the national textile association), CITEVE, and more garment factories per square kilometre than almost anywhere else in Europe. Starting there was a deliberate choice.
We focus on custom garment manufacturing for small and medium-sized production runs. The full production flow runs in-house: collection development with pattern making, cutting, sewing, packaging, and shipping. Brands work with one team from the first brief to the final parcel, without needing to coordinate multiple suppliers across different stages.
Our positioning is deliberate: we serve clients who need precision and personal contact, not factory-scale volumes. That means shorter lead times, direct communication, and the flexibility to handle bespoke briefs that larger operations would turn away.
