Sartius was founded in 2018 in Vila Nova de Famalicão and is part of the Valérius Hub, one of Portugal's leading responsible fashion manufacturing communities. We bring together a highly experienced workforce with decades of accumulated background in tailoring for men and women, working in the medium to high-end segment of the market.
Our specialisation is structured woven garments: outerwear, blazers, trousers, shorts, and skirts. We operate from a 12,000 m² facility with 116 employees across two dedicated production lines, one for blazers and outerwear and one for trousers and shorts. Daily production capacity runs to 150 blazers and outerwear pieces and 250 trousers and shorts. Alongside bulk production, we have a dedicated prototype unit for sampling.
The full production flow runs in-house: cutting and fusing, a pattern department, pressing, and finishing. We manage every stage without subcontracting, which gives us direct control over quality at each step. Our clients are wholesale brands and retailers in the medium to high-end segment, primarily in the United Kingdom and the United States.
As part of the Valérius Hub, we operate within a circular and sustainability-focused manufacturing community, supported by shared infrastructure for recycling, research and development, and responsible material sourcing.
