CFB, Create Fashion Brand was founded in 1989 in northern Portugal. Today the group operates three specialized facilities: a head office and sample line in Barqueiros, a logistics center in Barcelos, and a production factory in Beiriz, Póvoa de Varzim. Over 110 skilled staff work across the group, covering design, pattern making, cutting, quality control, textile engineering, and production. The custom manufacturing range covers three production tracks. Knitwear: t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, leggings, sportswear, and shorts in weights from 180 to 800+ gsm. Wovens and denim: jeans, chinos, shirts, flannel shirts, cargo trousers, and workwear. Technical outerwear: water-resistant jackets, synthetic leather jackets, coats, raincoats, and overcoats. Minimum order for fully custom production from scratch is 150 units per style. The Full Package service covers the complete cycle: design consultation and brand strategy, pattern making using CAD systems, fabric sourcing or in-house fabric production, sample development (1 to 4 weeks), bulk production, and finishing. Finishing capabilities include over 50 dye and wash techniques: stone wash, enzyme wash, garment dye, fade-out, and crinkle, alongside screen printing, DTG, sublimation, foil, embroidery, and heat transfer. Packaging runs to brand specification. CFB holds GOTS and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification. Over the last ten years the group has reduced CO2 emissions by 60%, with photovoltaic panels covering 55% of electricity demand, solar pre-heating for the boiler, 90% water reuse in dyeing, and all fabric off-cut waste recycled into new yarns.
