Curated byMatiasCottonanswer is a Portuguese garment manufacturer based in Barcelos, founded in 2013 on the foundation of a textile unit operating since 1962. With a heritage of over 60 years in the industry, Cottonanswer combines traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation to deliver premium quality knitwear for international fashion brands.
The company operates a fully verticalised production cycle, from knitting its own fabrics in-house, through dyeing with natural pigments, modelling, cutting, manufacturing, and final packaging. This end-to-end control ensures consistent quality and agility at every stage of production.
Cottonanswer exports 100% of its production to more than 100 markets across Europe, the Americas, Japan, and the Middle East. Its core values, Innovation, Methodology, Agility, and Efficiency, are reflected in every project it takes on, from private label collections for independent brands to larger commercial partnerships.
Sustainability is a constant priority: the company uses natural pigments in its dyeing house, invests continuously in responsible production processes, and maintains strict quality standards through an in-house laboratory.
