The story behind the work

Alba Vita is a textile manufacturing company based in Leça do Balio, Matosinhos, in the Porto metropolitan area. Founded in 2018 and restructured in 2022 under a new group of shareholders with extensive market experience, the factory has invested in a revised production layout and new equipment to respond more assertively to client demands.
Women's clothing is the core business. We work with both renowned fashion brands and startups, adapting our approach to the size and complexity of each project. Pattern making, prototyping, CMT manufacturing, and full package production are all available in-house.
The facility is equipped with automatic cutting, heat bonding, overlock, buttonhole and button sewing machines, invisible hem machines, and a full packaging line. Our standard operating model is CMT, brands deliver pre-cut fabric and we handle sewing, finishing, and packaging, but we can also take on cutting and full production chain work for brands that need it.
